The NYC Department of Education begins the search for materials for AAPI Curriculum.

Under the guidance of Professor Xia Li, Read Nation and our community wrote a letter to NYC Teachers, Superintendents, CEC Members, the Mayor, the Chancellor, and other personnel to increase AAPI Reading Material in School.

CCELL Passes Anti-Hate Resolution
The CCELL (English Language Council) passed the same Anti-Hate and Anti-Asian Racism Resolution.
October
Reaching Out to NYC CEC
With Professor Xia Li and Read Nation President Ting Yu, members of Read Nation reached out to NYC Community Education Council (CEC) members to start drafting resolution to prevent AAPI hate.
Late April
Under the guidance of Professor Xia Li, Read Nation founders drafted the first letter about AAPI Inclusion and History.

Anti-Asian racism resolution for public schools to implement citywide is passed in the following communities:
